Cancellations and changes to your reservation.

Travel insurance

Guests are encouraged to take out travel insurance as a strict cancelation policy is enforced.

General

All cancellations and any request for changes to your reservation (such as date changes, changes in the number in your party or complete cancellation) must be made IN WRITING and emailed to Turtle's Nest Beach Resort at info@turtlesnestanguilla.com.

- Cancellation requests received from the date of Turtle's Nest confirmation letter up to 61 days prior to date of arrival will be charged a 3.5% Banking Charge Fee on monies charged if paid by credit card.

- Cancellation requests received 31 – 60 days prior to date of arrival; 50% of the total reservation will be charged and is non-refundable. However, guests have the option to amend the reservation date to a future date, in which case the 50% (or actual amount paid) will be applied to this future stay. Please note that prices may change, and that the price of the future reservation date will be charged. If a client opts for a future stay, then this reservation can no longer be cancelled, even if this future date is 60 days or more in the future.

- Cancellation requests received within 30 days of date of arrival will not be refunded, nor will/can the reservation date be changed / amended.

- Cancellation requests received within 30 days of date of arrival are unable to be refunded.

In the case that we do not have documentation in writing from you, regarding a cancellation of any timeframe or a guest simply does not show up for their scheduled reservation, all funds paid are NON-REFUNDABLE.

If a guest does not show up on their scheduled reservation date without notice, then the unit will be released to the inventory after 24 hours, and client will no longer have a right to their reserved stay. I.e. if a guest is scheduled to arrive on January 2nd, but does not show, and has not given notice that he will arrive later, then the unit will be released to the inventory on January 4th, 12.01 a.m. Any funds paid will be non-refundable.


Holiday Reservations Deposits

Holiday Reservations Deposits (Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Years) are NON-REFUNDABLE if cancelled within 120 days of date of arrival. Holiday Reservation cancellation requests received 121 or more days prior to date of arrival will be refunded, minus US$50.00 to cover administrative fees.


Hurricane & Tropical Storm Cancellations

Most of the hurricanes and tropical storms in our location occur between June 1 and November 30. If you are traveling during this timeframe, and there is a hurricane or tropical storm threatening our immediate location, we will hold your deposit balance on account for a future stay at the same property, but deposits and balance payments are non-refundable. Rescheduling must take place IN WRITING within ONE WEEK of notice of cancellation due to hurricane or tropical storm. We cannot be held responsible for acts of God and will try to make every attempt to clean up after each and every storm prior to your arrival, however, hurricanes and other storms in the Caribbean can make a massive mess with things like the pools, the walkways, the roofs and other cosmetic areas. In this case we will use our best attempts to repair these as quickly as possible.
